Survei serangan hama baru Paracoccus marginatus (Hemiptera: Pseudococcsidae) pada pertanaman pepaya di Kabupaten Bogor

Abstract
Hama tanaman pepaya, Paracoccus marginatus Williams and Granara de Willink (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) menyerang ribuan tanamn pepaya di Bogor pada tahun 2008. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan daerah persebaran dan tingkat serangan kutu putih pepaya, yang berlangsung dari bulan Agustus sampai Oktober 2009. Sampel penelitian diambil pada daerah-daerah sentra produksi pepaya di Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa serangan hama P. marginatus telah tersebar merata di seluruh wilayah Bogor, dengan serangan berat terutama terjadi di wilayah barat dan tengah Kabupaten Bogor. Kecamatan yang menunjukkan tingkat serangan berat pada semua desa survei adalah Kecamatan Sukaraja, Caringin, Megamendung, Bojonggede, Tajurhalang, dan Rancabungur.
