    Sistem Antrian Berbasis Multimedia Pada Pengambilan Gaji Kantor Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara☆

Abstract
Dinas Pekerjaan Umum (PU) Prov. Sultra yang mengelola bidang pembangunan dan pengelolaan sumber daya air pada saat ini memiliki 812 Pegawai Negeri Sipil dan 671 pegawai kontrak APBN dan APBD yang tersebar pada 5 Sub Dinas. Sistem pengambilan gaji pegawai di kantor Dinas PU saat ini tidak memiliki sistem antrian sehingga pada setiap pengambilan gaji, khususnya pegawai kontrak selalu terjadi antrian panjang, berdesak-desakan, dan tidak teratur di depan loket bendahara gaji. Dengan menggunakan beberapa konsep teori tentang informasi, antrian dan beberapa komponen elektronika seperti resistor dan port parallel, peneliti bermaksud membuat Sistem Antrian Berbasis Multimedia pada Pengambilan Gaji Pegawai Kantor Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Provinsi Sultra menggunakan Visual Basic 6.0. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, literatur kepustakaan dan wawancara. Program yang dihasilkan berupa aplikasi yang dapat menampilkan suara dan menampilkan video yang dapat membantu dalam menangani sistem antrian pada kantor Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Provinsi Sultra. Bendahara gaji yang merupakan operator yang mengoperasikan program sistem antrian ketika melakukan pemanggilan nomor antrian, cukup melakukan melalui antar muka perangkat keras berupa tombol sehingga ketika tombol ditekan komputer akan mengeluarkan suara nomor antrian.
