Pengembangan Web Perpustakaan Pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 4 Kendari☆

Abstract

SMK Negeri 4 Kendari merupakan salah satu sekolah yang ada di kota Kendari yang telah mengalami pengembangan dalam segi fasilitas pendidikan. Pengembangan ini bisa dilihat dari penggunaan computer hingga pembangunan intranet sekolah pengelolaan untuk pengembangan media pembelajaran. Dengan adanya intranet sekolah system informasi akademik pun dapat dikembangkan. Sistem informasi akademik yang digunakan SMK Negeri 4 kendari ternyata masih belum sepenuhnya membantu pengelolaan data secara terkomputerisasi salah satunya adalah perpustakaan pada sekolah tersebut. Dalam prakteknya, perpustakaan ini masih sepenuhnya menggunakan system manual dalam proses pengelolaan datanya. Dengan penggunaan system manual, proses pengelolaan data akan memakan waktu yang cukup lama. Penggunaan PHP sebagai bahasa program utama dan My SQL sebagai perangkat perancangan database aplikasi penulis nilai merupakan langkah tepat mengikat kedua software. Aplikasi tersebut memiliki kelebihan dibandingkan perangkat lunak lainnya.
