Rochmady gained his bachelor in 2006 in the field of biology studies of Aphareus rutilans Cuvier red snapper fisheries. Masters education with an M.Sc degree was obtained in 2011 in the field of aquatic bioecology of mud clams organisms (Anodontia edentula Linn), from the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries Sciences, Hasanuddin University, Indonesia. Expertise: Mangrove Ecology, Aquatic Resources Bioecology, Fisheries Biology, Fish Population Dynamics.
Thesis studies submitted include new fields of study, especially mud clams organisms. Even though after the results of the research were published received a response from the leading researcher in this field, John D. Taylor. He responded that the name of the mud clams has been revised several times. Furthermore, it was said that previously A. edentula had been converted to Pegophysema philipiana, but it was more accurately called Austeralia corrugata. Apart from that, the presence of online research publications has encouraged and added information material as a trigger for discussion of the diversity of Indonesian aquatic organisms to the world level.
Currently registered and active as a lecturer and researcher in the field of aquatic resources at Wuna Agricultural Sciences University since 2007. As a lecturer, since 2013 Ristek and Dikti have been recognized (formerly Dikti the Higher Education Directorate) as Professional Lecture. Aside from being a lecturer, he currently holds the position of Chair of the Aquaculture Study Program ('B accreditation'), 2016-2019 term.
Recorded since 2009 active in various scientific activities both as participants and as speakers both at National and International Seminars. Among them, the activity of the Annual Scientific Meeting (PIT) of the Association of Indonesian Oceanology (ISOI) in 2011. Involved as a training participant in the Accredited National Scientific Article organized by the Ministry of Research and Higher Education in 2014. In 2014 the Internal Quality Assurance Workshop was held by the Director-General Berlamawa, Ristekdikti, and various other activities.
With these various experiences, then formed SCofCI which is the forerunner to the birth of COSIRE. He is currently the Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Coastal and Island Studies (COSIRE) Indonesia. COSIRE is located at Jalan Letjend Gatot Subroto Km.7 Lasalepa, Raha, Southeast Sulawesi 93654, Indonesia.
